My Learning Journey

Brand Identity

For the final mood board, I used my images and two images that I found on the internet that helped me create the logo and chose the right colours for the brand identity using complementary colours that I will apply to the website. The local vintage shops around the UK inspired me with vintage typography. The illustration is designed to attract a younger audience and make it warm and friendly. In the image below, we can observe creating the logo step by step. After finalising the logo, rasterise all the vectors to expand it without losing quality. The final fonts are Playfair display and Source sans. I choose these fonts for the website one is for the headings and the other for the body text.

One of the areas that I needed to work on more and was a challenge was to create a solution for the sustainability subject. In this case, after the UX experience design project, I found a solution to help the customers reduce the packing waste, reusing a bread bag. An excellent example of this technique is the coffee shop, Pret a Manger which helped the environment by asking their customers to bring their cups and offer them a discount.
