Changes
Amigatalk.com
During the evolution of this project, there have been different changes from sistalk.com to amigastalk.com. Amiga Talk web page is designed to help young Colombians to analyse their emotions. On this web page, emotions will be divided into 18 emotions. These emotions are positive, negative and neutral.One of the most critical problems is how the user will interact with the web page since it is a card game.
During the presentation of the prototype, several suggestions for changes occurred.
1. One of them is adding Spanish as an option to the website since it is designed for young women from Colombia. For the English part, it is recommended to have a review of the information since when it is translated, it can generate errors. Use any WP plugins.
2. Another recommendation is to seek a psychologist’s help with the content-created information on the website.
3. For the face icons is better to create a scale instead (still involving the
faces as anchor points on the scale) to have a broader range of emotions to present “How are you feeling today” Only three options oversimplify what you are trying to do, and the icons may trivialise the feelings.
Other changes come from the design part.
1. Change the background colour (D1C9B5) is a little too dark and would work even better if it were a bit lighter.
2. The illustrations are dark is better to use lighter shades of grey especially for the figure, and for clothes, you could use that lovely Rosé shade as a colour accent.
3. Change typography to Noto Sans.
I suggested this to them as they must accommodate various languages with special characters, such as Spanish.
